About Us

GreenCropCircles.com is a blog website designed to be a think-tank of ideas covering all aspects of the green world. See our first blog posting for more about this, Welcome Post. Although the site’s main purpose is intended to be a platform to discuss green ideas and healthy lifestyle, it might expand into other areas in the future. To begin with there will be a blog and some links to green sites along with some of our favorite random blogs.

This web site was created by the dynamic duo of Marcel and Charlotte, with additional support from sidekick Mulder. The team is located in Portland Oregon which is consistently rated as the “greenest” city in the United States. In Portland being green and organic is a way of life. Examples and ideas from Portlanders will be discussed at length in the blog along with many other topics in the green dimension.

The inspiration for the website name came from a combination of Marcel’s interest in sci-fi, and the need to come up with a catchy web domain name that hasn’t been used yet. After brainstorming hundreds of names GreenCropCircles was the result. The site’s mascot is Mulder the dog. He is a member of Marcel and Charlotte’s pack. Although he looks pedigree he was adopted and is possibly alien in origin.
